About Affinity
Hello! My name is Emily Schriver, and I am the owner-operator of Affinity Care Services.
I was born and raised in the Nackawic area, where my family has long been involved in healthcare and customer service roles. Pursuing a career in a similar field felt like a natural path for me.
I graduated from NBCC in 2011 and went on to spend ten years working as a Personal Support Worker at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, gaining experience across multiple departments. In addition, I have worked for several larger home care providers in Fredericton over the years. While my time in the hospital setting was incredibly valuable, my true passion has always been in home care. Home support offers a more personal and meaningful approach, where strong relationships can be built and trust can truly develop.
In the spring of 2025, I decided to establish my own company. After many years of working within larger home care organizations, I recognized gaps where certain client needs were not fully being met. As a business owner, my goal is to provide compassionate, professional care while also addressing those unmet needs with a more personalized and attentive approach.
